This is the official website of Tokio Nakai who spent his youth in Japan playing for the Yokohama-Marinos and then at the age of 17, he moved to Italy to challenge his life as a professional soccer player.
4 years later, as soon as he reached his goal, he gave up on his career and he took a long break from soccer.
He has given up on everything he had in Japan and went to Italy.
After 4 years of struggles he went through, he finally got a contract with a team that gave him the possibility to play as a professional player.
But 1 month later, tragically, the Italian Soccer association changed their regulations and because of that, his contact was terminated by force.
With his deep depression, he returned to Japan, he lost his passion for soccer, still continued playing soccer but it became just his hobby.
After a while, the fate brought him meeting with a person who brought him back his passion!
After this long break, he went over to Europe again to restart his career as a soccer player at the age of 28.

In 2009, he tried to pursue his dream in Italy again but the regulations were still very strict. So that his challenge has taken him to Germany.
Up to now….

"I want to let everyone know how amazing it is to challenge ourselves.
For my own dream to play as a world class soccer player as a Japanese, I will challenge myself again in a foreign country even though this might be the last chance for me because of my age.
I hope to find people who support me"
